Basement Jaxx VS The Metropolitan Orchestra 
Basement Jaxx teamed up with Sarah-Grace Williams and The Metropolitan Orchestra to perform an orchestral rendition of their world-famous discography. TEG Dainty chose Stagepass to provide sound operators for the entire tour and audio production for Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena performance. Stagepass operators travelled with the artists from Melbourne MCA, Sydney’s Opera House and concluded at Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Multitrack recording feeds via a digital audio link were provided to radio station Triple J to record and later broadcast the performance.

Travelling an 80 piece orchestra between cities on a ‘rock and roll’ schedule required a significant effort by Stagepass account managers to coordinate all audio suppliers to provide identical packages for each performance. Weeks before the artists arrived in Australia, Stagepass implemented a consultation process to design the bespoke control system and workshop the stage layout with the artists.
